When help needs to be immediate
Pre-Pay Terms and Conditions
1.£20 per hour for home users, payable in advance.
2.£30 per hour for businesses or help relating to Final Cut, payable in advance.
3.You can purchase multiple hours at the same time should you wish to.
4.Once that amount has reached my bank account, you’ll be able to use the service.
5.Your voucher will remain valid for two months from the date of purchase. You have all that time to make your first phone call.
6.The voucher and any minutes remaining will expire three weeks after your first phone call.
7.Calls will be rounded to the nearest minute: one to twenty second after the minute will be rounded down. If the call ends after that, it will be rounded up.
When you need help right away, it can be a pain to ring up, book an appointment and hopefully get me round within the next couple of days if I’m not already fully booked. Sometimes, this isn’t useful if you need more immediate help. As a result, I’ve come up with a new service called “Pre-Pay”.
The way it works is very simple: you buy up front an hour of my time. You can use that hour at any time during the next three weeks and I can answer as many questions as will fit in 60 minutes. Depending on where you are and as long as the internet works as expected, I can even help you with your Mac remotely, seeing what you see on your screen. The time spent on the phone is rounded to the nearest minute and once you’ve run out, all you have to do is buy another hour (or more) and you’re back in business again. I will send you an email once you have 10 minutes left, to give you an opportunity to recharge your Pre-Pay before you run out of credit.
If you still have some minutes left over after three weeks, they will no longer be valid and you will have to purchase more for Pre-Pay to work again.
